Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions from prospective Spreeholic students. Don't see yours? Reach out directly.

Do I need any prior trading experience?

No prior experience is required for our Trading Fundamentals course. It's designed for complete beginners and builds from market microstructure upward. Intermediate and Advanced courses have prerequisites that are clearly listed on each course page.

How long do I have access to course materials?

You receive lifetime access to every course you purchase, including any curriculum updates or new modules added to that program in the future. Live sessions are recorded and archived in the student portal indefinitely.

Are there live sessions or is it all self-paced?

Both. Each course has self-paced video modules, graded assignments and weekly live Q&A sessions with instructors. Students who cannot attend live sessions have access to recordings within 24 hours.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund window from the date of purchase. After 14 days, refunds are considered case-by-case.

Is Spreeholic a registered investment advisor?

No. Spreeholic is strictly an educational organization. We do not manage money, provide personalized investment advice, or recommend specific securities. All content is for educational purposes only.

Do you provide a certificate on completion?

Yes. Students who complete all modules, pass the graded assignments, and submit the capstone project receive a verifiable Certificate of Completion.

What brokerage should I use?

We don't recommend any specific broker. Our Fundamentals curriculum reviews the major US and Canadian platforms — including Interactive Brokers, TD Ameritrade, Schwab, Questrade, and alpaca markets — so you can make an informed choice based on your account type, jurisdiction, and trading style.

What software or tools do I need?

A modern laptop, a stable internet connection, and a free charting account (TradingView free tier is sufficient). Advanced courses optionally reference paid data subscriptions but never require them.

Can I take multiple courses simultaneously?

Technically yes, but we recommend completing courses sequentially. Deep learning requires focus; overlapping programs typically dilute outcomes.
